IPL 2023: CSK’s Strongest Playing11 in IPL 2023 | CSK vs GT Probable Playing11: The IPL fever amongst the fans and supporters has begun to rise as we are inching closer to the IPL 2023 opener, which is scheduled to be held on 31st March 2023. MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is slated to roar against Hardik Pandya’s champion side Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

The players from all around the world have started re-grouping along with the support staff as just four days are left to the IPL 2023 curtain raiser contest. The anticipation for the CSK vs GT contest has been building up nicely all this while and it will certainly grow in the next couple of days. Down below we have brought to you a little overview of CSK’s previous campaign and a preview of their upcoming campaign in the IPL 2023 along with CSK’s Strongest Playing11 in IPL 2023.

The perennial champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) felt the shock of falling apart in the IPL 2022. The team saw a string of events which pulled them downwards throughout the season. The move of changing captaincy went haywire, they lost matches in a cluster and the team could also not produce an effort to enter the playoffs for the first time in history.

In IPL 2022, MS Dhoni had stepped down from the captaincy but was reinstated as the leader of the side as they pressed the panic button midway through the tournament. Ravindra Jadeja, who succeeded Dhoni as the captain of CSK, went on to lose six matches out of eight and was eventually dropped from the captaincy position.

Prior to the IPL 2023 Auction, CSK gave a farewell to a couple of players by releasing them. The likes of Dwayne Bravo, Robin Uthappa and Chris Jordan were set free.

However, ahead of the IPL 2023, CSK did tremendous work by signing up England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes, who has been touted as the front-runner to succeed MS Dhoni, once the latter steps down. Meanwhile, the yellow brigade also picked up a couple of other players including – Kyle Jamieson, Ajinkya Rahane, Shubranshu Senapati and Shaik Rasheed among others – in the auction to bolster their squad in the IPL 2023.

However, in a blow to the squad, Kiwi lanky all-rounder Kyle Jamieson is already ruled out of the IPL 2023. In another potential setback, young pacer Mukesh Chaudhary is also doubtful for IPL 2023 as he is currently recovering from a back injury.

Down below is CSK’s complete squad for IPL 2023.
