Ishan Kishan was the highest bid in the TATA IPL 2022 Mega Auction. He bagged a cheque of 15.25 crores from the Mumbai Indians. The Mumbai Indians did not want to lose out on their prized possession. They bought Ishan for 6.2 Crores in the 2018 IPL Auction. And purely based on performance, his price had inflated to more than twice of that. His innings against Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI in India’s tour of Bangladesh did show us a glimpse of why the Ambanis believe in this young man.
