The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction was held on 18th February in Chennai and 57 players have been picked by the franchises out of 292 players. The Australian explosive all-rounder was expected to get an IPL contract, however, no one predicted that he will go on to become the third-highest pick in the IPL 2021 Auction.
