INDvNZ: Watch Rohit Sharma hilariously troll Ishan Kishan for double century after 1st ODI, Shubman Gill 200: Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is known for his jolly behaviour with the players. Often we have seen Rohit showing his witty character during media interaction. However, this time, Rohit unknowingly trolled Ishan Kishan after the 1st ODI against New Zealand when he hilariously asked Ishan, ?why despite scoring 200 you sat out for 3 games?"

The young wicketkeeper batter was quick to respond and jokingly said, "Bhaiya yeh to aap btaoge, captain to aap the naa. [Brother you are the captain, you will tell." Ishan's quick response induced a burst of laughter as the three (Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill) shared a candid moment following Shubman's maiden double ton.

Notably, Rohit Sharma and the Indian management were criticised for overlooking Ishan's double century after he was snubbed from the ODI playing11 against Sri Lanka. Team India had played Shubman Gill ahead of Ishan, and the netizens were certainly not impressed with it.

Meanwhile, Ishan replaced KL Rahul in India's playing11 in first ODI against New Zealand in Hyderabad. He was asked to bat at number 4, in KL's place.

When asked, whether he likes to bat at number 4 or not, Ishan replied, "Yes, I like batting at number 4 as well. Everything makes you learn something.?

Shubman Gill scored his maiden double century

Meanwhile, the man of the moment was Shubman Gill, who had struck his first double century. Gill achieved the feat of becoming the youngest to score a double hundred as India registered a mouth-watering win by 12 runs against New Zealand in Hyderabad.

?It felt pretty amazing?I couldn?t go big in the 1st and 3rd ODI of the Sri Lanka series but in this match, I was on 100 again?had an opportunity to do it?it paid off," said Shubman Gill when asked how it felt after playing a 208-run knock.

Rohit once again tried to tickle and mockingly asked Shubman Gill, "You are the one who scored double-hundred then why is Ishan standing beside him??

Further, Ishan asked Gill about his pre-match routine to which Rohit immediately interrupted and  said??You can only tell this for you guys are always together in the room.?

?He spoils my pre-match routine?he doesn?t let me sleep. He watches movies with full volume and doesn?t even use AirPods.We fight everyday?he (Ishan) says it?s my room and everything will be as I?d want them to be?this is my pre-match routine,? said Gill.
