ICC WTC Finals: Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle pulled out of ICC WTC Finals commentary.

ICC WTC Finals: India’s renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle has pulled out of the ICC World Test Championship commentary panel, three days before the beginning of the World Test Championship final.

The WTC Final will be played out, starting June 18 at Ageas Bowl Southampton between India and New Zealand.

Famously known as the “Voice of Cricket”, Harsha Bhogle posted a tweet on Wednesday informing all his fans and supporters about his step.

The commentator said to do commentary on the final, he would have to be away from his country and family for 27-28 days, due to quarantine norms.  He further said that he has been involved in the bubbles for a long time now and he will be there in the coming times.

“I was hoping to be in Southampton this week for the #WTCFinals. But quarantine requirements meant I would have to be away for 27-28 days for one game. I have spent a lot of time in bubbles and there are more ahead. I am enjoying being home and so, regretfully, had to pull out,” wrote Harsha Bhogle.

Meanwhile, the international Cricket Council (ICC) has released the complete list of the commentary panel for the WTC Finals.

Dinesh Karthik, Sunil Gavaskar, Kumar Sangakkara, Nasser Hussain, Simon Doull, Isa Guha, Ian Bishop and Michael Atherton will be there for entertainment of the fans and cricket lovers.
