The India VS SA contest was a roller-coaster ride. India and SA locked horns like never before, and the game went down to the wire. The South African pacers had the last laugh, and the Indian batters struggled big time. However, there is always a learning curve associated with such cases. What are the top 3 lessons from the India VS SA game in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022:

India VS SA, Indian Openers are Struggling:

The Indian Openers are struggling. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma cannot live up to their expectations. Rohit Sharma did have a good game against the Netherlands, but it was a weaker opposition. If we were to ask Rohit himself, he would have liked to take apart the South African bowling instead of the Dutch. Also, the Perth pitch had something that Rohit loves to deal with, bounce it is!

KL Rahul on the other hand is not having a good time on the pitch. He is under immense scrutiny. His performance in the IPL gets him a ticket to the ICC T20 World Cup but his international performance has dropped. He is struggling to time the in-swinging delivery.

SA Might Have Qualified for Semi-Finals:

The South African team has booked their berth in the semi-finals after the India VS SA contest. India will now have to win all their remaining contests. India will play Bangladesh and Zimbabwe next. Both the opponents are relatively mediocre if we are to compare on-paper potential and both these games seem an easy victory for the men in blue. SA, on the other hand, has a good chance of ending as table toppers. They will have to beat Pakistan. But even if they do not, they will still go through.

India VS SA, Indian Bowling has started to fire:

The biggest positive for India after the India VS SA game is that the Indian bowling has started firing. Arshdeep Singh is reaping the best of revenues. The investment in him has come to the party. Mohammed Shami is also bowling very well. Ravichandran Ashwin is also getting his job done. All-in-all the Indian bowling lineup is working as a team to settle as a bowling unit. The death overs too do not look like a point of concern.
