India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 gets a green signal as the Indian government issues an official statement on ties with Pakistan

The India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2025 got a green signal as the match will be played according to the schedule. The Indian Sports Ministry has issued an official statement on the game between the two arch-rivals. 

The India vs Pakistan game in the Asia Cup 2025 will be played on 14th September. The match between the two teams is scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. 

There were a lot of debates over India taking on Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. Many fans and former cricketers lashed out at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for playing against Pakistan in the tournament. 

There were even reports which claimed that the India vs Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2025. This came after the India Champions pulled out of their game against the Pakistani Champions in the World Championship of Legends 2025. 

Indian teams will take part in international events that also have teams from Pakistan, the Indian Sports Ministry

With all the backlash, the Indian Sports Ministry has issued an official statement, saying that all the bilateral ties with Pakistan will be cut, but they can't do anything about playing in the ICC and ACC tournaments. 

"With regards to international and multilateral events, we're guided by international sports bodies and the interests of our own sportsperson. Indian teams will take part in international events that also have teams from Pakistan. Similarly, Pakistan will take part in multilateral events hosted by India". 

This means that India vs Pakistan games in the Asia Cup, as well as the ICC tournaments, will go as per schedule. There are chances that both the arch-rivals might face thrice in the Asia Cup 2025, which will begin on 9th September.
