Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has set the stage on fire in the game and yet again proved why is a valuable asset for the team in white-ball cricket.
Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. The story of the first two games continued in the third match as openers Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners and smashed them all over the park.
The power-hitting Australian duo batted staggeringly well and added 68 runs for the opening partnership. It seemed that the visitors would pile up a gigantic score, especially after the start they got. But the dashing all-rounder Hardik came to the rescue for his side and bailed them out of trouble yet again.
Hardik came up with a sensational spell of fast bowling and put Australia on a back foot. The right-arm pacer removed Head for 31 runs and after that produced a peach of a delivery to send opposition skipper Steve Smith packing for a duck. This was the 5th time he dismissed the batter in this format, second most after Adil Rashid.

If this was not enough, Hardik then sent the stumps of Marsh cartwheeling. He removed the opening batter for 47 runs and after that bagged a spectacular catch to dismiss David Warner. The all-rounder’s sensational spell reduced the visitors from 68/0 to 85/3.
