Scenario 3: Match Abandoned or Washed Out

Both teams receive one point. India and West Indies both finish on three points. West Indies advance because their NRR of +1.791 is far superior to India's -0.100. For India, a washout is the same as a loss — elimination.

What is NRR and Why Does It Matter Here?
