IND vs PAK: India captain Rohit Sharma achieved a historic feat in the Asia Cup. The opening batter registered the most fifty plus scores as Indian captain in ODI Asia Cup history. The senior opener now has smashed 6 50+ scores in 8 innings he has played as a skipper. 

Rohit Sharma achieved the feat in the ongoing IND vs PAK game in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2023. The Indian captain looked a class apart in the game and smashed runs for fun. He made a mockery of the Pakistan attack and tonked them all over the park. 

Rohit Sharma, who failed in the first IND vs PAK game, took his revenge perfectly as he played some crisp shots and smashed a staggering half-century. The opening batter smashed 56 runs off just 49 balls and also hit 6 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. 

Rohit Sharma also smashed 121 runs opening partnership with Shubman Gill (58) and gave his team a dream start. The duo came out all guns blazing and put Pakistani bowlers under immense pressure. They provided a great platform for others to score big.

After that Virat Kohli and KL Rahul took the charge but rain interrupted and further play wasn’t possible. The reserve day of the IND vs PAK game will be played on 11th September.
