IND vs IRE: After the current tour of West Indies, India is all set to travel to Ireland for the three-match T20I series. The first game will be played on the 18th of August followed by the second and third games to be played on the 20th and 23rd August. All three games of the series will be played at The Village, Malahide.

IND vs IRE: The Ireland series will be an opportunity for young players to make their case strong for the T20I setup. It’s fair to say that those who missed on the squad for the West Indies series will get an opportunity here as some players are likely to be rested considering the jam-packed schedule.
Hardik Pandya is expected to be the leader of the team whereas it is likely that Yashasvi Jaiswal will be there. Shubman Gill is likely to be rested for the Ireland series and it is expected that Ruturaj Gaikwad will be there in the squad as he missed on from the squad for West Indies.
Suryakumar Yadav the brainer will be the vice-captain of the team and will be the middle-order batter and it is expected that Tilak Varma along with Sanju Samson will be there in the team and will bat in the middle order.
Rinku Singh, who set the stage on fire in IPL, will also be there, as he wasn’t there in the West Indies squad. There were a lot of questions about his omission from the team. Along with him, it is expected that Jitesh Sharma will be there and Ishan Kishan will be rested as well.

Apart from Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar most probably will be the two all-rounders in the team. Ravi Bishnoi is likely to make cut into the team whereas Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik and Mukesh Kumar will be the three pacers in the team.
