Even though there has only been one game so far, the IND vs ENG series gave a real teaser of what’s about to come. With Patidar expected to make his debut, it is likely that Shubman Gill will be dropped to No4 spot from 4. The upcoming IND vs ENG game will be extremely crucial for him as he has been under the firing line. It’s fair to say if he fails in the next match, he might get dropped for the third game.

Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin will be three spin-bowling all-rounders for the second Test. With Ravindra Jadeja being ruled out of the second IND vs ENG game, we might see Kuldeep Yadav getting a chance. Whereas Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are expected to be the two pacers in the team.
