IND vs AUS 2023; India Squad Announced For ODI Series vs Australia: The Board of Cricket Council of India (BCCI) have freshly announced the Indian Squad for the upcoming ODI Series against Australia in India. KL Rahul is announced to lead the side in the first two ODIs of three in the Australia Tour of India 2023.

This series against Australia will work as a perfect warm-up and prep series for the World Cup 2023. Keeping in mind that the World Cup 2023 is just three weeks away, the IND vs AUS 2023 ODI series will be the best time to check and correct the drawbacks.

India just a day ago won the Asia Cup 2023 defeating Sri Lanka in their home by 10 wickets. The superhero of that match Siraj is also included in the squad.

Surprisingly, India’s regular captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, and vice-captain Hardik Pandya are rested for the first two ODIs. They will be back for the third game and Rohit will be leading the side.

Till then, KL Rahul will lead the Indian Team for the majority of the series. Ravindra Jadeja is named Vice-captain for the first two ODIs. A surprising addition to the Indian squad is RAVICHANDRAN ASHWIN. Ashwin is back in the ODI squad of India.

Ajit Agarkar, the head selector, is “hoping” that all-rounder Axar Patel will be fit for the last game but there is still uncertainty over the all-rounder’s health. During the Super 4 matchup versus Bangladesh, which was a dead rubber, Axar suffered an injury. Then, as a last-minute substitute for the all-rounder, Washington Sundar was added to the Asia Cup roster.

The good news for Indian cricket fans is that Shreyas Iyer is also in the squad and recently Rohit said he is 99% fit and almost ready to play in the ODI series IND vs AUS 2023.
