India batter Virat Kohli achieved a special milestone in the T20Is. He became only the second player in the history of the shortest format of the game to score 2000 runs while chasing. The batter achieved in the feat in the second T20I against Afghanistan. 

The second match of a three-match series between India and Afghanistan took place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The hosts won the game by the margin of 6 wickets and bagged the series by the margin of 2-0 with one game to go. 

Virat Kohli, who made a return to the T20I format after 14 months, played a decent role in the game and helped India win the match. The batter came out with an aggressive mindset and what we saw was completely different from Kohli.?

With his innings, Virat Kohli became only the 2nd player in history to score 2,000 runs while chasing. Overall while batting in the second innings, he has scored 2012 runs in 46 innings. He also has a rollicking average of 71.85 in chases and a strike rate of 136.96 to go with 20 half-centuries.
