IDFC Bank Become New Title Sponsor of Team India Home Games Says reports: According to reports from Cricbuzz, IDFC, a private sector bank in India, has successfully secured the title rights for the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) home international series for three years.

The IDFC bank won the bid at INR 4.2 crore per international match at home; this time, the bid represents a notable increase of 40 lakh from the previous price of INR 3.8 crore. The BCCI had set a base price of INR 2.4 crore for the Title Sponsor rights.

This partnership between IDFC and BCCI is set to commence next month with the upcoming Australia tour of India, featuring three ODIs. The agreement extends until August 2026 and which includes a total of 56 international fixtures.

In the competitive bidding process, IDFC emerged victorious against strong competition, including Sony Sports, a major player in sports broadcasting. This was the first that Sony Sports entered into the domain of title sponsorship.

This lucrative deal will be very beneficial for the BCCI, as they will accumulate around INR 1000 crore through this deal. Team India will be playing in the Asia Cup 2023 from August 30 to September 17, 2023.

When will the partnership between IDFC Bank and BCCI Start?

After the Asia Cup, they will play a home series of Three ODI matches against Australia to prepare for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. This will be the first Home Series in Which a partnership between BCCI and IDFC Bank will officially start.

ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 will be played from October 5 to November 19, 2023, in India, and The Players will be doing their best to lift the World Cup trophy after a long time.

After the World Cup, Team India will be playing five matches T20I series against Australia at Home, and then They will tour South Africa for the three T20I, Three ODI and Two Test Matches series.

After the South Africa Tour, India will be Playing three matches in the T20I series against Afghanistan in India from January 11 to January 17, 2024. Then, England will come to India for the five matches test series, which will be played from January 25 to March 7, 2024.
