Why Do Teams Have Points Without Playing in Super Six?
Before the Super Six stage, teams competed in the Group Stage, where all teams were divided into four groups. When teams qualify for the Super Six, two of their group-stage matches are carried forward, but with an important condition:
Only matches played against other teams that also qualified for the Super Six are counted.
