ICC Rankings Update: Rohit No.1, Kohli No.5, Pakistan No.4 - Latest ICC ODI Rankings Ahead of IND vs SA 1st ODI 2025

India is currently dominating the ICC Rankings as the Indian Team is the No.1 ODI Team, and Indian star player Rohit Sharma is the No.1 ODI batter. However, South Africa played exceptional cricket and defeated the Indian Team in the recent two-match Test series by 2-0. But with the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, India is expected to perform well and continue their domination in the ICC ODI Rankings.

India Men’s National Cricket team is at the top spot in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings with a rating of 122, while South Africa Men’s National Cricket Team is at 6th spot with a rating of 98. So, the Indian Team is way ahead in the ICC ODI Standings, but South Africa is slowly improving their position and rating.

ICC Player Rankings:

Despite retiring from T20I & Test Cricket and uncertainty in the ODI Team, Rohit Sharma is ruling the ODI cricket at the age of 38. Rohit again reclaimed the top position in the ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings and has an impressive rating of 781. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill and King Kohli are also at 4th and 5th spot in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings.

There are 4 Indian players in the Top 10 of ICC Men’s ODI Batting Rankings, whereas no South African batter is in the Top 10, but Quinton de Kock is at 13th spot, and he has a good chance to make it into the Top 10 after this ODI series. In the ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings, South African spinner Keshav Maharaj is at 3rd spot and Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav is at 7th spot.

If we look at ICC Men’s ODI All-Rounder Rankings, then only India’s Axar Patel is in the top 10. Indian and South African players have an excellent opportunity to get better positions in the ICC ODI Rankings, but they need to play good cricket to improve their rankings.
