ICC Player of the Month Nominee for November announced, England superstars Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid named
ICC Player of the Month Nominee for November: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday (December 06) announced November?s Player of the Month Award Nominees. The list of three top performers in the month of November includes England?s two World Cup-winning players and a player from Pakistan in the Men?s category.
English skipper Jos Buttler has been named alongside Adil Rashid, who were brilliant with their performance and helped England surge to the T20 World Cup glory. While Buttler remained England?s best batter throughout the tournament, Adil Rashid unleashed his spin web toward the end of the tournament.
Jos Buttler mustered 225 runs in 6 innings which included an unbeaten 80-run knock in the semi-final against India. Moreover, he displayed his full range of shots during the World Cup and spearheaded his side to the coveted glory.
On the other side, Adil Rashid spun his web and controlled the game during the mid-phase in the knockout games. Against team India in the second semi-final, Rashid scalped a wicket by giving away just 20 runs in his quota of 4 overs. While in the final, he went a step further to dismantle two Pakistani batters by conceding mere 22 runs. As per the experts, Rashid?s performance in the ICC knockouts gave England a major boost to fetch World Cup glory.
The third nomination for the ICC Player of the Month award is Pakistan?s Shaheen Shah Afridi. The speedster turned the matches upside down with his threatening spells. Despite getting injured mid-way in the final, Afridi played a major role in containing England and keeping Pakistan in the contest in the World Cup final. In the month of November, Shaheen Shah Afridi scalped 10 wickets at a superb economy of 7.30.

ICC Player of the Month (Women) Nominee:
Meanwhile, in the Women?s category, three opening batters from Pakistan, Thailand and Ireland have been nominated for the honour by the ICC.
Pakistan?s Sidra Ameen has been named in the list following her magnificent performance against Ireland in home ODIs. Ireland?s Gaby Lewis exploited the batting conditions on offer during the T20I series against Pakistan which immediately followed the ODIs. Lewis helped her side take the T20I series against Pakistan.
While Thailand?s Natthakan Chantam enjoyed her outings against the Netherlands as she mustered multiple big scores in the ODI series win in the month of November.
