The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is fast approaching, and here is the list of all the venues and stadiums that the ICC has selected to host the tournament.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is poised to be one of the most-awaited cricket events in recent years, and we are just counting days to the event. It will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March 2026.

For this major tournament, the ICC has chosen eight renowned and exciting stadiums across the two countries. These venues not only offer excellent facilities but also create an electric atmosphere for the short format.

Here is the complete list of stadiums that will host matches during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026:

Venues in India (5 Stadiums)  

1. Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

The Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world, will be the focal point of the tournament. With its large seating capacity and modern facilities, it is expected to host several high-profile matches, including the grand final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

2. MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai

Commonly known as Chepauk, this historic venue is famous for its spin-friendly pitch and knowledgeable cricket fans. Matches here are expected to be tactically interesting, especially for teams with strong spin attacks.

3. Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi

Located in the heart of India’s capital, the Arun Jaitley Stadium will host multiple key matches. The venue has a rich history and consistently provides thrilling contests.

4. Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Known for its energetic atmosphere and batting-friendly surface, the Wankhede Stadium is likely to host a match on the opening day where India will face USA, along with other crucial clashes. Evening games here often result in high-scoring excitement.

5. Eden Gardens, Kolkata

One of the most iconic and Historic cricket stadiums, Eden Gardens, brings a unique legacy and vibrant crowd energy. Known for creating unforgettable moments, this venue will add special charm to the World Cup.

Venues in Sri Lanka (3 Stadiums) 

6. R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

Sri Lanka’s top cricket stadium, the R. Premadasa Stadium, will host several group-stage matches. Based on team performances, it could also stage a semi-final or even the final.

7. Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Cricket Ground, Colombo

This historical venue will primarily be used for selected group-stage matches. Its balanced pitch conditions often lead to competitive games.

8. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy

Set against a beautiful backdrop, the Pallekele Stadium is one of Sri Lanka’s most modern venues. It will host select matches and is recognized for providing exciting T20 contests under lights.
