ICC Champions Trophy, Most Runs and Most Wickets Players List 2025!
ICC Champions Trophy 2025: India are the New ICC Champions Trophy Champions after defeating New Zealand in the FINALS. It was a nail-biting final, to be honest, where India sealed the second ICC Champions Trophy title with a four-wicket win!
The ICC Champions Trophy was played in the hybrid model where the host, Pakistan, hosted most of the matches except the India matches. BCCI denied visiting Pakistan regarding the political issues and security issues between the nations and Pakistan had to agree to a hybrid model. All the matches of India were played in Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
Pakistan had flat surfaces where the ball came nicely on the bat, and scoring runs was a bit easier. While, Dubai pitches were a bit tricky to bat. Early swing, spin after 10th over and some reverse movement in the later half of the innings made things tough for batters.

Rachin Ravindra, the star of New Zealand with Indian roots, is shining bright! Rachin was not in the starting eleven in the first match of the tournament due to injury, but he got a chance in the second match against Bangladesh to replace injured Daryl Mitchell, and he was right on the money. In four matches played in the tournament, he scored 263 runs with an average of 65 and a strike rate of 106.
Just behind him is Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer. He played all five matches and contributed in all with 243 runs at an average of 48. He got 16 fours and 5 sixes in this ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Players With The Most Wickets
As mentioned above, the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was played in a hybrid model, We saw a clear difference between the playing conditions of Pakistan's Pitches and Dubai's Pitches! While Pakistan's pitches were more batting-friendly, Dubai's surface was tricky to play on.
If checked early swing, batting was largely easy in Pakistan. However, pacers with good control and discipline had some success in Pakistan. Matt Henry, New Zealand's bowling spearhead, missed the final due to a shoulder injury but still sits at the top of the table of players with most wickets. He got a fifer against India in the league match and had five more wickets in three matches.
Varun Chakravarthy, the Indian mystery spinner, was on fire this tournament. He was not included in the playing 11 from the start, but later in the third match against New Zealand, the captain or the management decided to play him. Just in the three matches in this tournament, he is the second highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
