ENGvsIND Test: Here’s encouraging news from the world of cricket to begin your day. Senior Indian cricketer and red ball vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane showed a good recovery from his injury and began training in the nets ahead of the first test against England, starting August 4.

Ajinkya Rahane owing to his hamstring injury didn’t participate in the three days practice match against County Select XI earlier, however, the cricketer seems to be much better position as of now.

The BCCI earlier informed that Rahane had mild swelling around his left upper hamstring. He had to take injections to reduce the swelling and the pain associated with it.

The reports from the Indian camp shows that Rahane have returned to the cricket field to have some batting practice in the nets. He took a proper batting session at the Riverside Ground in Durham.

Earlier, skipper Virat Kohli, who also missed the practice match due to stiff back, also returned back to the field.

With both Indian test mainstay getting back into the groove and picking up pace, the signs are encouraging advancing to the Test series against England.

Amid all these happening in England, Suryakumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw have been added to the Indian test squad as the replacements of the three injured cricketers. Yadav got his maiden test call-up after showing promising signs in the limited over cricket while Shaw is making his comeback after getting dropped off earlier this year.

The two aforementioned replacements are expected to fly after the completion of the India-Sri Lanka limited-overs series.
