The FIFA World Cup 2022 has come to a close. Some of the biggest names in the tournament were not that impressive. This was a tournament of underdogs. It was not about Neymar, Muller, or Harry Kane. The 2022 FIFA World Cup was about lesser-known underdog players. The football community came to know about players like Amrabat, Emi Martinez, and Theo Hernandez. 1) Sofyan Amrabat can Get a Big Contract Post the FIFA World Cup 2022:
Sofyan Amrabat, the defensive midfielder from Morocco has already started getting the calls. The clubs interested to sign him up include Liverpool and Barcelona. The price of this player has been hiked to 40 million pounds. He currently plays for ACF Fiorentina. Fiorentina are open to accepting offers for the player. Amrabat didn’t score a lot of goals but his impact was unmatched. He made many crucial interceptions. He also has a great vision.
2) Josko Gvardiol:
Josko Gvardiol’s cell phone has already started ringing. His agent has become one of the busiest people on the planet. There are 3 Premier League clubs who intend to sign this center-back. Chelsea, Liverpool, and even Manchester City are looking to bag Gvardiol. Apart from that one embarrassing duel against Lionel Messi, he had an exquisite tournament. His tackle against Belgium was the one that took Croatia to the semis. He is signed up with Leipzig which is a top German club but he will be keen on playing for English or Spanish clubs.
3) Alexis Mac Allister can Get a Big Contract Post the FIFA World Cup 2022:
Alexis is currently playing for Brighton Hove and Albion. The central midfielder was also too good in the FIFA World Cup 2022. His assist to Angel Di Maria sealed the game for Argentina in the World Cup Final. Alexis has a market value of 35 to 40 million pounds and had come to Brighton for 7 million pounds a year. It is a profitable deal for Brighton too but they are willing to hold the player for long.
4) Azzedine Ounahi:
After Amrabat, the second most impressive player was Azzedine Ounahi. Ounahi is playing in the Ligue 1 for Angers. But the Angers manager has revealed that the club has started receiving offers for Azzedine. The 22-year-old has offers from Spain, England, and France too. He will have a contract renewal in January that will allow him to select whether he wants to continue with the Angers till summer or move to these top clubs in January itself. He is currently valued at 40 to 45 million pounds per year.
