England vs Australia 1st T20I: Weather Report of Rose Bowl Cricket Stadium, Southampton

The highly awaited and exciting Australia’s tour of England, 2024 is all set to commence as the Mighty Aussies will be locking horns against Phil Salt’s England in the first T20I of the three-match 20-20 series at Rose Bowl Cricket Stadium of Southampton on 11th of September.

After securing an easy 3-0 series win over Scotland, the Aussies will now be playing against their Ashes-Rivals. Mitchell Marsh-led Australia have received a boost with the return of Matthew Short and Josh Hazlewood.

Seamer Nathan Ellis was unfortunately ruled out of the series due to a hamstring-injury, but his place in the team has been taken by Riley Meredith.

England on the other hand will be missing the services of their regular white-ball skipper, Jos Buttler, who has not fully recovered from his calf-injury. In the absence of Jos, hard hitting opener Phil Salt will be wearing the captain’s hat.

The squad of the 2022 T20 World Cup winning team consists of some new faces as 20-year-old Batting All-round Jacob Bethell has received his maiden England call-up after working relentlessly hard in Domestic Twenty-Twenty leagues.

Left-arm pacer Josh Hull has also been included in the squad for the T20I series against the Kangaroos and the duo of John Turner (right-arm seamer) and Dan Mousley (right-arm off break bowler) are a part of the squad as well.

As the two fierce rivals prepare to take on each other, the article below will be focussing on the weather-forecast of Southampton’s Rose Bowl Cricket Stadium.
