IPL 2022: England Players available for complete IPL 2022, confirm BCCI

England Players available for complete IPL 2022, confirm BCCI: In a big development for the IPL franchises, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has provided an update on the availability of the England players for the fifteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The IPL franchises were constantly concerned about the uncertainty in IPL bound England cricketers availability for the upcoming IPL 2022. The doubt got intense following England’s dispiriting performance in the recently concluded Ashes 2021-22 and several former England cricketers blamed IPL for England’s debacle in the Tests.

However, sideling all the rumours, the BCCI, on Tuesday, confirmed that all the England players will be available for the full-fledged IPL 2022.

“After the IPL, the ECB is committed to starting the 1st WTC Test Match v New Zealand on 2 June, 2022. The player availability for all the ECB players will be through to Sunday, 29 May, 2022 (sic),” the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed the franchises ahead of the mega-auction.

The mega auction of the IPL 2022 is scheduled to be held on 12th and 13th February in Bangaluru.
