With this, Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan faces awkward moments with the fans due to his poor performance in recent matches.
The Third T20I match between Pakistan and England was washed out by the rain but England played dominating cricket against Pakistan in the second T20I match at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. England won the 2nd T20I match by 23 runs and skipper Jos Buttler played a superb inning of 84 runs. Pakistan Pacers did quite well but the batters failed to chase the target of 184 runs.

During the travel in Cardiff, a fan confronted Shahdab Khan about his bad performance either by bat or ball in the ongoing T20I series against England. Shadab Khan failed to get a single wicket in the recent matches against England and Ireland, he has an economy rate of 12 per over. This clearly shows the Pakistani star players are facing a lack of form ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Shadab Khan has always been the core player of the Pakistan National Cricket Team and his performance in the middle overs is very crucial for the team but T20 World Cup 2024 will start in just a couple of days. Therefore, many questions are raised over the performance of Shadab Khan in the recent games and this is not a positive sign for Pakistan.
Pakistan still has the chance to draw the t20I series against England by 1-1 by defeating them in the fourth T20I match, which will be played on June 30 at Kennington Oval Cricket Ground in London. It is expected that Pakistani players will give good competition to the home team and chances are high they might win the 4th T20I match as well.
Pakistan have made lots of changes after they failed to play good cricket in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 in India. Babar Azam was reappointed as skipper of the Pakistan National Cricket Team after newly appointed skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi failed to make an impact in the bilateral series.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and fans are expecting a lot from Pakistan team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 but if we look at recent matches, they aren’t playing good cricket. Some of the players like Fakhar Zaman, Mohd. Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi even Skipper Babar Azam are playing superb cricket but they need to play collective cricket to win the ICC tournament.
Pakistan Matches in T20 World Cup 2024:
Pakistan will be playing their first match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 against the USA on June 06 at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. After the match with the USA, Pakistan will be looking to defeat India on June 09 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Then, Pakistan will be playing their last two group-stage matches against Canada and Ireland on June 11 and 16, respectively.
