Royal Challengers Bengaluru now have a 100% win record in the WPL 2026. They thumped the Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in their fourth game at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Put into, Delhi, despite a poor start, posted 166, in response, Bengaluru made fun of the chase and solidified their position at the top of the points table.

Delhi Capitals had a forgettable start as they were left in shambles by Bengaluru’s new ball bowlers in Lauren Bell and Sayali Satghare. The Jemimah Rodrigues-led side were reduced to 10 for four inside two overs and then later found themselves at 74 for six. 

But, at the other end, Shafali Verma (62) seemed to be batting on a different track. She counter-attacked the Bengaluru bowlers and slammed a brilliant half-century under pressure.

In the end, Lucy Hamilton (36) played her part as Delhi powered themselves to 166. For Bengaluru, Bell and Satghare bagged three wickets each. 

DC vs RCB: Heartbreak for Smriti Mandhana as she falls for 96 

In the chase, RCB lost opener Grace Harris, but captain Smriti Mandhana (96) stole the limelight with her brilliant batting effort. She hardly put a foot wrong in her innings and was all set to slam the first-ever ton in the WPL.

But in what was a big heartbreak for her, she fell for 96. Georgie Voll (54), at three, supported her brilliantly as they added 142 runs together for the second wicket, which powered Bengaluru to an eight-wicket win.

After match 11, DC vs RCB, the Smriti Mandhana-led side is still at the top spot on the points table. Mumbai Indians are second followed by Gujarat Giants at third spot. UP are win moved to fourth, while Delhi Capitals are in the last spot.
