BREAKING!! Narendra Modi Stadium to Host T20 World Cup 2026 Final | ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Likely Dates: February 7 to March 8, 2026

As per the media reports, The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 is set to be played between February 07 and March 08, 2026 and T20 World Cup 2026 Final will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka in 2026, now as per the news reports, The Final of T20 World Cup 2026 will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad however, If Pakistan qualifies for the Final then the match will be played in Colombo.

Due to the diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan, Indian National Cricket Team decided not to play in Pakistan in the ICC events as well and now, Pakistan National Cricket Team is following the same after India played their all game in Dubai during the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 which was hosted by Pakistan.

ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Likely Date: February 7 to March 8, 2026

According to the reports, the T20 World Cup 2026 is likely to take place from February 7 to March 8, 2026. It is about to be played for one month just after the Women's Premier League 2026 which is expected to start in early January, 2026. 

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is yet to release the official fulll schedule but report says, the window has been blocked. A total of 20 teams is goung to participate in the T20 World Cup 2026, there will be four groups and each group will have five teams.

After the group stage, top two teams from each group will move to Super 8 and then top 4 teams from Super 8 will qualify for the semi-finals.

What if Pakistan Qualifies to Final, Will they play Final at Narendra Modi Stadium?

As per the reports, If Pakistan will qualify for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 then the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka will host the Final match. 

It is expected that T20 World Cup 2026 will be played at five venues across India and two venues in Sri Lanka.

Why Narendra Modi Stadium?

The Final match of ICC Men' ODI World Cup 2023 was also hosted at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and people witnessed record-breaking spectators during the match between India and Australia. 

Narendra Modi Stadium also known as Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat has a seating capacity of around 1,30,000 poeple which makes it the largest cricket stadium in the world. The Stadium has world-class infrastructure, facilities, LED floodlights and crowd atmosphere which makes it a perfect choice for the T20 World Cup 2026 Final.
