The Australian Cricket Team is a very dominant side. The team is looking good and it is shaping up well. There are a few big names that have missed out and many cricket pundits have criticized the ACB for that. Cameron Green is one such guy who has missed out. But there are many other essential match winners in the Australian team. These are players who cannot be replaced as they are one of a kind. Here is a look at the 3 most important players for the Australian Cricket Team at the ICC T20 World Cup

Pat Cummins will play for the Australian Cricket Team:

Josh Hazlewood has line and length, Mitchell Starc has unreal pace and Pat Cummins has both. While speaking about the tri of the Australian Cricket Team, Pat Cummins is the guy who cannot be replaced. Cummins adds immense value to any team he plays for. He can easily bat at number 7 and hit the ball a long way. When it comes to bowling, he has got these precise yorkers and sharp bouncers. He doesn’t look super quick but easily clocks over 145 clicks. He can bowl in the powerplay and even at the death.

Matthew Wade will play for the Australian Cricket Team:

Matthew Wade is aging like fine wine. He is the Dinesh Karthik of the Australian Cricket Team. After taking Australia to one T20 World Cup win in 2021, Wade will be keen on doing it again. The world doesn’t have a better finisher than Wade at the moment. He is scoring at the strike rate of 180 and is super consistent. The “finisher” is a high-risk role and the approach that this position requires is different. Wade is doing the same with maturity. Wade cannot be easily replaced because he keeps wickets and brings in a lot of experience.

Steve Smith:

Steve Smith is the glue that binds the Australian batting together. So, you have all the big hitters in the form of Glenn Maxwell, Tim David, Marcus Stoinis, and Matthew Wade and the one that keeps them together is Steve Smith. Smith ensures that all these stroke makers get a safe space to play and have someone to rely on. He plays the “anchor” of the innings. He can attack when required, but the others take that role. He cannot be easily replaced as all the young Australian batters are of the “Slam Bang” mindset.
