Asia Cup SUPER Fours Points Table Updated After India vs Pakistan | India on Top of Points Table
The second Super Four match of the 2025 Asia Cup was played between arch-rivals India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and elected to bowl, winning the match by six wickets. With this victory, the Indian team has reached the top spot in the Super Four points table.
Batting first, Pakistan had a great start, at one point it seemed that the team would give a target of more than 200 runs to India. Opener Sahibzada Farhan gave the team a solid start by scoring 58 runs in 48 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes, while Faheem Ashraf played a fiery inning of 20 runs in just eight balls with the help of two sixes and one four, taking the scoreboard to 171 runs. Despite the good start of the team, due to the failure of the middle order, it was unable to set a big target.
Speaking of the Indian team's bowling department, Jasprit Bumrah bowled at an economy rate of 11.20 for the first time, conceding 45 runs in four overs and taking just one wicket. Shivam Dubey took two wickets, while Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took one wicket each.

Chasing the target of 172 runs, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill from the Indian team not only gave the team a good start but also played a fiery innings. There was a partnership of 105 runs between the two for the first wicket. Abhishek played an inning of 74 runs in just 39 balls with the help of five sixes and four fours, whereas Gill scored 47 runs in just 28 balls with the help of seven fours. Tilak Verma sealed the match for India by bowling a six in 18.5 overs, he scored 30 runs with the help of two sixes and two fours.

India and Bangladesh are tied for first and second place in the Super 4 points table with two points each. India's NRR (net run rate) is better than Bangladesh's, which is why they are in first place. The third Super 4 match will be between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, a match both teams must win to stay alive in the tournament.
