Salman Agha didn’t train with the team as they underwent warm-ups and light football drills

The reports claimed that Salman Agha didn’t train with the team as they underwent warm-ups and light football drills. With him not taking part in the practice sessions, there are a lot of speculations about his fitness, with many wondering if the skipper will play the game against India or not.

However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), came up with a sigh of relief for many fans. The governing body stated that there is no serious concern related to Salman Agha and that he will resume training shortly. The reports added that team management is sure that he will play games against Oman and India.

Salman Agha has been a vital cog in the wheel for the Pakistan National Cricket Team in the T20I setup. Ever since he was appointed as the captain, he has done a great job as a skipper, leading from the front with bat and ball. He has also been leading his side sensationally well and would be confident of winning the Asia Cup 2025.

Salman Agha recently took Pakistan to win the UAE T20I tri-series. Under his leadership, the team defeated Afghanistan in the final and clinched the series. They would be keen to carry that momentum forward and lift the Asia Cup title after a long gap.

The India vs Pakistan clash will be the main highlight of the Asia Cup 2025. There are chances that the two teams might face each other thrice in the tournament - first in the Super Four stage and then in the final of the event in Dubai.
