There have been a lot of speculations about what squad will India name for the Asia Cup 2023 because the team isn’t settled till now with a few key players being out to be injury as well. There are high possibility that the squad which will be named for the tournament might play World Cup as well.

The camp will be held from 24th August to 29th August and following that Indian team will be travelling to Sri Lanka to play the tournament. They will be opening their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on 2nd September in Kandy.

The delay in the squad can be assumed because of the availability of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. The duo has been injured for a while but has been putting in hard yards at the NCA. They recently played the practice game and it’s fair to say that there are high chances that they will be in the team.
