Asia Cup 2023: India Playing 11 for the Asia Cup Prediction
The Asia Cup 2023 will be a great opportunity for the Indian Cricket Team to rectify their batting order and get all the things in the right place before the ICC World Cup 2023. Also with players returning from injury will have a great game time ahead of the main show and can gain their touch back.
Coming to the playing 11, there’s no doubt about India’s top 3. Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open the innings while Virat Kohli will follow them at No.3. The trio will be extremely crucial for the team’s chances a lot would be dependant on them as they would be doing a bulk of scoring in the tournament.
Shreyas Iyer is expected to bat at No.4 as since the last few years he has done well at that spot. He has been out due to injury but it is likely that the team would be backing him. KL Rahul also has returned after a nursing injury and it is likely that he will be there at 5 and will keep the wickets as well.
Hardik Pandya along with Ravindra Jadeja will be the two all-rounders in the team. They are also expected to play a crucial role with bat and ball. Shardul Thakur might get a nod ahead of Mohammad Shami because of his batting prowess. India would be wanting batting depth and Shardul can provide them and play the third pacer’s role.
Kuldeep Yadav will be the second spinner in the team along with Ravindra Jadeja whereas Jasprit Bumrah along with Mohammed Siraj are expected be to the two pacers in the team for the Asia Cup 2023.
