Kohli is just 191 runs away from 13,000 ODI runs. With three-ODIs against Australia on frey, he can easily break that record. However, even if he scores only 191 runs in the next 58 innings, he will become the fastest to achieve the feat in the ODIs

Kohli is also two centuries away from breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most hundreds against Australia. He currently has 7 tons against the five-time world champions and even if he scores one century, he will equal the batting great’s record.

Also, if he smashes three tons in the series, he will equal Tendulkar’s record of most centuries in ODI cricket. The batter currently has 46 hundreds and is just a few tons away from scripting history.
