WI vs IND 2023 1st ODI: India Defeated West Indies by five wickets, Kuldeep Yadav bowls Fabulous Spell: India and West Indies have played the first ODI match at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, and Now, Indian Team is leading the series by 1-0.

West Indies has shown bad cricket, and their batting got collapsed, and they got all out at 114 runs. Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took four and three wickets, respectively. Indian team has easily chased the target in 22.5 overs with a loss of five wickets.

Indian bowlers, especially spinners, have bowled a Fantastic spell in this match, and they dominated West Indies and couldn’t let their batters have partnerships. Such a Bowling performance puts India in a strong position in the first half of the game.

WI vs IND 2023 1st Match Summary:

India won the toss and elected to bowl first on a good batting surface at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Hardik Pandya started the inning, and he took one wicket in his three overs spell. West Indies batters were struggling against India’s Strong bowling line-up.

Alick Athanaze played aggressively and got out by scoring 22 runs in 18 balls, whereas Skipper Shai Hope made 43 runs in 45 balls, and he didn’t get support from the other hand to build a partnership.

After the Poor Performance by West Indies Batters, they got all out and scored 114 runs on the scoreboard. From Indian Side, Kuldeep Yadav got four wickets in three overs and gave six runs, whereas Ravindra Jadeja got three wickets in six overs and gave 37 runs.

India came to chase the target, but this time, Ishan Kisan opened with Shubman Gill instead of Rohit Sharma because the target was very low. Gill got out by scoring only seven runs, whereas Suryakumar Yadav played a small inning of 19 runs.

Ishan Kisan played wonderfully and scored 52 runs in 46 balls, whereas Skipper Rohit Sharma came to bat at seventh, and he finished the match by scoring four, whereas Chase master Virat Kohli didn’t come to bat.

India easily won the first ODI at Kensington Oval in Barbados, and they are ahead in the series by 1-0. The Second match will be played at the same venue on July 29th.
