Vivo IPL 2021: UAE to allow 60 per cent fans in the stadiums for the Vivo IPL 2021.

Vivo IPL 2021: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has decided to host 60 per cent of fans in the stadium for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. The decision to allow the fans was taken after comprehensive discussions and deliberations with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB).

The report of the Telegraph confirmed the news as the IPL teams have started to begin their pre-match camps in the UAE. Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have landed in the UAE on Friday.

The last IPL season, which was also held in the UAE, was also held without the crowd due to tough protocols. BCCI did not allow fans to enter the stadiums and the matches were played behind closed doors in the first phase of the IPL 2021 as India was anticipating the second wave of covid.

The fans in the stadium will boost the morale of the cricketers and will bring the luxurious cricket league back to life.
