<p><strong>IPL 2022 Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap after GTvsLSG Match:</strong> The Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 kickstarted a couple of days ago and the tournament has already witnessed some of the finest finishes to the matches. In the limited matches, fans saw fantastic comebacks, sensational bowling performances and explosive batting from the batters.</p>



<p>The last encounter in the Tata IPL 2022 was between the two debutants, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, which the latter side won by 5 wickets. Though Gujarat deserved to win the match right from the start, Lucknow did exceptionally well to make a comeback and put up a good defendable total against the Titans following their early debacle.</p>



<p>Mohammad Shami was absolutely ruthless with his powerplay bowling. The veteran pacer rattled through the top order of Lucknow Super Giants and picked three crucial wickets early in the first innings.</p>



<p>To record a good comeback, Lucknow?s Deepak Hooda and young Ayush Badoni played excellent innings after starting slow and settling down in the middle. Both the batters completed their half-centuries and helped LSG to amass 156 runs in 20 overs.</p>

<p><strong>Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap in IPL 2022 ? Updated List April 11: </strong>The 11th April Super Sunday saw four teams fighting neck to neck to clinch four crucial points in the ongoing edition of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL). In the afternoon match, Delhi Capitals (DC) did extremely well to return to the winning ways, defeating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 44 runs, while in the evening, Rajasthan Royals (RR) successfully thrashed Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to reclaim the top position in the points table.</p>



<p>During the afternoon fixture, Delhi Capitals (DC) amassed massive runs and put up 215 runs total for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after being asked to bat first. Prithvi Shaw, as usual, was highly impressive as he scored a quickfire 51 from 29 balls. David Warner also traced back his lost form and scored 61 off 45 deliveries. To finish things off on a high, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur exploited the slog overs and took DC to a mammoth total of 215 runs.</p>



<p>Kolkata Knight Riders couldn?t get an ideal start as the openers were dismissed pretty early. The players couldn?t stitch any fruitful partnership in between and as a result, lost the match. KKR could only manage to score 171 runs in pursuit of 215 runs total and lost the game by 44 runs.</p>



<p>During the second fixture between RR and LSG, Rajasthan Royals were simply outstanding with their execution. The pink army put up 165 runs total on the board following match-winning efforts from Shimron Hetmyer, who scored 59 runs off 36 balls.</p>



<p>In response to a modest total, Lucknow Super Giants lost two of its most crucial wickets in the first over itself. Trent Boult got rid of KL Rahul and Krishnappa Gowtham in just two balls and forced the opposition into the backfoot.</p>



<p>Quinton de Kock tried to play controlled innings, however, he also lost his wicket after scoring 39 runs. A few players played their little cameos to take Lucknow close to the total. Krunal Pandya helped with 15 balls 22 while Marcus Stoinis remained unbeaten at 17 balls 38.</p>



<p>Lucknow Super Giants fell 3 runs short and lost the match to end their three matches winning streak.</p>
