Faf Du Plessis

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made a complete turnaround in the Vivo IPL 2021 after suffering a humiliating season last year and Faf du Plessis played his part in it. The South African cricketer opened the innings with young Ruturaj Gaikwad and ensured a brisk start for the franchise.

Du Plessis is also a consistent performer for CSK over the years. He performed in the previous season too, but hasn’t got much support from the other end.

In the IPL 2021, both CSK openers Du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad are jamming on another level and are producing the best start possible.

In seven games, Du Plessis has amassed 320 runs for CSK at an average of 64.00. In his run, he has also scored four half centuries.
