IND vs WI: Indian Team is currently locking horns with West Indies in the ODI series. The Rohit Sharma-led side is testing quite a few things in the ongoing series, keeping in mind the World Cup. But it’s fair to say that the experiments haven’t worked out and have raised a few more questions.

In the first game, they bundled out West Indies for just 114 runs and it was expected that it’ll be a cakewalk for them. But even while chasing the modest target they lost 5 wickets and chased the target with difficulty as batters looked clueless on a turning track.

They continued trying out new things in the second game as they rested Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. But this got worse for them as they lost the game. India was bundled out for just 181 runs and then couldn’t defend the target, losing the game by the margin of 6 wickets.

Following their loss they have faced a lot of criticism. With World Cup around the corner, there’s no clarity about who will play or not. Kapil Dev was asked about what is going wrong with the Indian team and he didn’t shy away from lashing out at the players and said that they have become arrogant with the money they have earned.

“Sometimes, when too much money comes, arrogance comes. These cricketers, they feel they know everything,” Kapil Dev said.

IND vs WI: “There is no personal agenda,” Ravindra Jadeja gives a befitting reply to Kapil Dev for calling Indian players arrogant

IND vs WI: Following Kapil Dev’s comments, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja ahead of the third ODI was asked about his comments. He too didn’t shy away from hitting back at the former Indian cricketer and said that there isn’t any arrogance in the team and there’s no personal agenda. He said:

“Former players have the right to share their opinion but I don’t think there is any arrogance in this team – everyone is working so hard, no one is taking anything for granted, this is a good bunch of boys, there is no personal agenda”.

The final ODI of the three-match series is on Tuesday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. India would be looking to end the series on high.
