Indian off-spinner R Ashwin broke a massive record of great Anil Kumble. He surpassed the bowling great in the most number of wickets against West Indies in the longest format of the game. The veteran spinner now has 75 wickets against the opposition.

R Ashwin achieved the feat in the ongoing second Test against West Indies at the Queen’s Park in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The off-spinner, who was dropped from the team for the ICC World Test Championship Final, made a rollicking comeback.

In the first game, R Ashwin picked 12 wickets in the game and then has so far picked three wickets in the ongoing second game. He has provided his team with the crucial breakthrough in the second innings and has made sure that they inch close to victory.
