IND vs WI: After the loss in T20 World Cup 2022, India has been going through a transition in the shortest format of the game. No senior player has featured in the T20I squad and various youngsters have been provided opportunities under the leadership of Hardik Pandya.
With the focus of the senior players more on the ODI World Cup this year, it is expected that the five-match T20I series against West Indies will see a young team. Hardik Pandya is expected to be the leader of the team whereas it is likely that IPL performers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad are likely to get the spot in the team.
Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan are expected to be the openers alongside Gaikwad and Jaiswal. Rahul Tripathi didn’t have a great IPL but it is likely that he will be part of the team because he performed well for India in the T20Is. Suryakumar Yadav the brainer will be the vice-captain of the team and will be the middle-order batter.

Sanju Samson is likely to be recalled into the team and it is expected that Rinku Singh, who set the stage on fire in IPL, will also be there. Ravi Bishnoi is likely to make cut into the team whereas Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik and Shivam Mavi will be the three pacers in the team.
