India batter Shubman Gill joined Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar in the elite list for the Indian Cricket Team. The batter became only the third player for the team in history to score 10 international centuries at the age of 24.

Shubman Gill achieved the feat in the ongoing second Test of the five-match series against England. The match is taking place at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

The young batter, who was under a firing line for his poor innings of late, stood tall for his team and made sure he bailed them out of trouble. In the second innings, India lost two quick wickets and was under pressure and it was then that Gill stepped up. 

Shubman Gill made sure he silenced all the critics and shut all the noise surrounding him. The batter played magnificently well and didn’t put a foot wrong in his innings and putting his team in a strong position in the ongoing second Test against England.

Shubman Gill, who didn’t set the stage on fire in Tests at No.3, made sure he made a statement and saved his place in the team. The young batter smashed his third Test ton and his first at No.3, making sure he returns to form ahead of the last three Tests against England. 

Shubman Gill, who scored 34 runs in the first innings, ended with the innings of 104 runs off 147 balls. He slammed 11 fours and 2 sixes in his innings and put his team in a dominating position. He added 89 runs with Axar Patel (45) and helped India take a lead of over 300 runs.
