IND vs AUS: India is all set to host Australia for the three-match ODI series just ahead of the ICC World Cup 2023. The first game of the series will be played on Friday (22nd September) in Mohali followed by the second match to be played on Sunday (24th September) in Indore. The final game of the series is slated to take place on Wednesday (27th September) in Saurashtra.

It’s fair to say that the Indian squad for the IND vs AUS series is expected to be the same as that of the World Cup. However, me might see some changes as they are to announce their final squad. Having released the provisional squad, they would have looked at the areas of concerns in the Asia Cup and Australia series will be opportunity for them to tick those boxes as well.
As per the reports in the Times of India (TOI), it is learned that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce the Indian squad for the IND vs AUS series on Monday (18th September).

Indian captain Rohit Sharma along with head coach Rahul Dravid and chief selector Ajit Agarkar had a healthy discussion ahead of the Asia Cup Final for the IND vs AUS series. The trio reportedly discussed about the combinations for the series.
India lacks off-spinner in the team and we might see Ravichandran Ashwin getting an opportunity. Captain Rohit Sharma during the press conference revealed that he’s in talks with off-spinner and everyone is in the contention.
