IND vs AUS 3rd ODI: The first half of the series decider third ODI between India and Australia has been a treat for fans to watch. Both the teams have had their moments in the innings. Opting to bat first, the visitors had a sensational start as Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners and smashed them all over the park.
The hard-hitting Australian duo stitched 68 runs for the opening partnership. After the opening partnership, they tumbled a bit as they lost wickets in quick successions as Indian vice-captain Hardik Pandya chipped in three quick wickets and reduced Australia from 68/0 to 85/3.
The duo of David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey tried to build a partnership but the brilliance of Kuldeep Yadav was too much for them to handle. The leg-spinner bowled staggeringly well to curtail the run flow and shift the momentum towards their side.
Marcus Stoinis, Sean Abbott and Ashton Agar made a decent contribution with the bat down the order helping Australia to post a total of 269 runs on the board. For India, Hardik and Kuldeep bagged three wickets each whereas Mohammed Siraj and Axar Patel were also amongst the wicket as they wrapped up Australia’s innings inside 49 overs.
