IND vs AFG: Third T20I between India and Afghanistan was one of the best T20I encounters we have witnessed. The Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru witnessed the run festival and if this was not enough, the game went down to two super overs. Ultimately, it was the Indian team, who clinched the game and won the game to complete a 3-0 whitewash.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma was the main architect with the bat for the team in the IND vs AFG third T20I. Not only with the bat but he was also top-notch with his leadership skills as well which saw the team winning the game and completing a 3-0 whitewash. 

Coming to the game, Rohit Sharma was under a lot of pressure as he bagged two ducks and there were a lot of questions about his future in T20Is. However, he set the stage on fire in the third IND vs AFG game as he played sensationally well. 

India was tumbling at 22/4 and it was then skipper Rohit Sharma who took the responsibility. He unleashed his beast mode and made a mockery of the Afghanistan batting lineup with his brutal power hitting all over the ground.

Rohit Sharma added 190 runs in partnership with Rinku Singh (69*) as India posted a gigantic total of 212 runs on the board. At one stage it didn’t seem that the hosts would go past 200 runs but such was the brilliance of Sharma and Rinku with the bat. 

Rohit Sharma ended with the knock of unbeaten 121 runs off 69 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 175.36 to go with 11 fours and 8 sixes in his innings. This was his 5th ton in the shortest format of the game, which is most by any batter in the format.

After the win in the IND vs AFG 4th T20I, Rohit Sharma broke quite a few records. He surpassed MS Dhoni to become the captain with the most wins in the T20Is for India. Apart from this, he also topped the list of most centuries in the format with 5 tons to his name. 

Rohit Sharma also has the most runs by an Indian Captain in T20I. Apart from this he also recorded the most 50+ by an Indian Captain in T20I. The batter also bagged the record for most sixes as a skipper in the shortest format of the game. With his 121*, he also registered the highest score by an Indian skipper in T20Is
