Even though Prajapati smashed a century during the run chase, Oman was unable to meet the target as it was on the higher side. Although Ilyas, Ayaan Khan, Nadeem, and Maqsood all made significant contributions, they weren’t enough to pose a threat to the opponent. The majority of wickets were taken by Zimbabwe pacers, however, they were also highly expensive.

Now, Zimbabwe are at the top of the Qualifiers Points Table with this win. They have 6 points and an NRR of +0.752. They are followed by Sri Lanka with 4 points and an astonishing NRR of +2.698.

Oman are the lowest bottom of the World Cup Qualifiers Points Table with 0 wins and negative NRR. All the teams other than top two in the current Points table have a negative Net Run Rate which indicates that Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe are the teams booking their slots in the ICC World Cup 2023 to be held in India.
