ICC Team Ranking Updated After IND vs AUS: The first match of the ongoing three-match ODI series between India and Australia was played today at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. In this match, Kl Rahul and Co. defeated Australia by five wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the series. With this victory, the Indian team has come into first place in the ICC ODI rankings. In the absence of senior players Virat Kohli, captain Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya, India played the first match of a three-match series against Australia today, which the Blues won by five wickets. With this win, India has risen to first place in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, with 116 points. The Indian team leads not only the ODI rankings but also all three formats of cricket (T20I and Test).

After winning the toss, KL Rahul, who was leading the Indian team in the absence of Rohit Sharma, chose to bowl first. In response, the Australian team scored 276 runs in 50 overs, losing 10 wickets.

The Indian team snatched victory from Australia by chasing the target in 48.4 overs. For India, there was a partnership of 142 runs between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubham Gill for the first wicket. Gaikwad scored 71 runs in 70 balls with the help of 10 fours, while Shubham Gill scored 74 runs in 63 balls with the help of 6 fours and two sixes. Apart from this, Suryakumar Yadav played a half-century knock, while captain KL Rahul scored 58 runs.
