This FIFA World Cup also happens to be the last World Cup for many football legends. These are players who have graced the game with their performances over the years. These players might not be in their prime today, but during their time, they made the world dance to their footballing skills. The Argentine squad will be entering the FIFA World Cup as favorites and will be keen to get hold of the trophy for Lionel Messi. Sergio Ramos will play his last FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The center-back is a senior pro and has been a part of 4 World Cups considering 2022. He has also been a world champion with Spain in 2010. Sergio has been there and has done it all. He has seen the top wonders of the globe. Ramos will however be keen to end his international career on a high by winning the trophy for one last time.  

Manuel Neuer: 

The German “Sweeper-Keeper” was a star in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was the talk of the town back in the day. Neuer has been a solid rock in goal for Bayern Munich. This World Cup in Qatar is expected to be his last World Cup too. His best international achievement is winning the Cup with Germany in 2014. It was Mario Gotze’s last-minute strike that aided Neuer to be crowned as a champion.

Luka is a true maestro. The footballing world will never get enough of his vision and his classy footwork but age is not on his side. His top international achievement with Croatia happens to be playing the FIFA World Cup 2022 final against France and also ending up as the “Player of the tournament”.
