David Warner has been officially appointed as the Captain of the Delhi Capitals. This had to be done as their designated captain Rishabh Pant met has been ruled out of the TATA IPL 2023 season. He was ruled out as he met with an unfortunate accident in early January. It was fortunate that Rishabh escaped the accident with limited injuries as the car crash could have been fatal. It was due to the quick presence of mind of the co-travelers who took Rishabh out to safety. Now the flag bearer of the Capitals is David Warner.
