Vivo IPL 2021: CSK agrees to Moeen Ali’s request to remove Alcohol Brand from his IPL jersey.

Vivo IPL 2021: The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Management has accepted the English all rounder’s request to remove a specific brand from his jersey due to his faith’s ban on Alcohol.

The flamboyant English all-rounder is Muslim and his religion doesn’t allow him to consume any Alcohol. It is seen that Ali does not support any of such brands and always ask for the removal of the brand’s name if any of his jerseys endorse it.

The three-times champion side has a logo of SNJ 10000 on the jersey. Ali requested CSK management to remove the brand’s name and CSK agreed to it. Moeen does not endorse any alcohol-related brand for his national side England too.

The English cricketer has been acquired by CSK in the recent IPL 2021 auction for whopping INR 7 Crores. He was released by RCB ahead of the IPL 2021 auction.

Ali has a decent IPL record in the 19 games he played for RCB. In those games, he has scored 309 runs and trapped 10 batsmen.

The 37-years old cricketer is excited to play under MS Dhoni and said, every bowler wants to play under him as he guides them from behind the wickets and helps them improve the game.

“I’ve spoken to players who have played under MS and they tell me how he improves their game. I believe a great captain does that,” Moeen was quoted as saying by the CSK website.

“I think it’s something on every player’s wish list to play under MS. I think it’s the confidence and the clarity he gives people. It’s exciting,” he added.

MS Dhoni and Co. will begin their IPL 2021 campaign against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai on 10th April.
