A promo video of Kayo Sports - a sports streaming platform of Australia currently in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. They released a video in which Australian players mocked Team India's no-handshake policy versus Pakistan and while the video has been deleted, it has sparked a huge controversey on social-media platforms.

The video, which was created with the aim of promoting India National Cricket Team's tour of Australia, featured the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood, skipper Mitch March, Jake Fraser-Mcgurk and Grace Harris, a player of the Aussie women's team. The video starts with Ian Higgins - the host anchor stating, "We know India is coming to our country, but we've discovered a major weakness."
Co-host Sam Perry then gestures for a handshake, saying, "He's not particularly fond of the traditional greeting (handshake). So why don't we make him uncomfortable before we throw the ball?"
The Australian players then showcased their own greeting alternative styles with the duo of Jake Fraser-Mcgurk & Glenn Maxwell attempting to execute a fist bump which went horribly wrong, while female players like Sophie Molineux and Grace Harris imitated some extremely funny, yet creative greetings.
Captain Mitch Marsh suggested the "finger in the ice cup" gesture, a famous celebration by hard-hitting opening batter Travis Head. Women's skipper Alyssa Healy showcased her famous "Healy Hands" gesture, which is very famous on social media platforms..
On social media, Indian fans denounced the film as offensive, despite the fact that it was meant to be a humorous amusement. The video was taken off by Kayo Sports amid mounting objections.
Now, there is more anticipation for the forthcoming white-ball series between Australia and India. In this three-match ODI and three-match T20 series, which also features the comeback of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill will lead the ODI team. The T20I series, which begins in Canberra on October 29th, will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav.
Pakistan, however, formally complained to the ICC, describing this position as "political." India also took issue with Pakistani players Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan's aggressive acts, which included plane crashes and firearm mimicking.
When the Indian players refused to receive the trophy from Pakistan's Home Minister and ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi at the award ceremony, the dispute intensified even further. Consequently, there was no official ceremony when the trophy was taken off the stage.
